P90X DAY 9 - 14: Plyo X, Arms/Shoulders,Yoga, Legs/Back and a Bad Winter Sweater.

I was too lazy to post my workouts.

Not too lazy to do them.


Just to lazy to post them.

So. Here's a week's worth below.

I have the phase 1 workouts down, but I think I'm going to do 2 weeks of Phase 2. Then 90 Days of actually following the schedule. In the end I think it will be about P118X.

Like the past 2 weeks with Phase 1, I want to concentrate on form with Phase 2. So, I'm going to decrease my weights, and focus on doing all the moves as perfect as I can get them.

Plus I figure, it will help me continue to get used to the mornings. Which I'm still finding not too bad.

In other news. My wife bought our dog a sweater.

Monday was supposed to be my off day, but since I took off Friday I did some Yoga. When it comes to doing the WHOLE Hour and Half of Yoga X, I'm still like:

So, I just did the first Half Hour and Some Ab Ripper X.

Tuesday was another Morning Workout. I'm still "okay" with it.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to sleep in, but once I'm done, I'm digging the fact my workout for the day is over.

As with the previous workouts this time around, I dropped my weights and really concentrated on form. By the time I was done, I was pretty wiped out, which leads me to believe my idea of "good form" in the past, may not have been as GOOD as I assumed.

My legs were pretty stiff from "Leg Day" yesterday, but I decided to go running anyway.

This was essentially me getting in my car to drive to the place I go running, and then trying to get back in my car, after I WENT for my run.

That said. My legs, were not sore, just stiff. Hopefully I was smart enough to know the difference. I'm still able to walk as I write this, so I suppose I'm in the clear.

I had A LOT of leaves to move. I even did it the healthy way. Normally I use my back pack leaf blower and drink a few beers since I have a free hand. This time. No beer. Well, while I was doing yardwork. Watching Football was another story.

For today's workout, I once again concentrated on Form. I tried to do THAT much more during the Summer, as opposed to back when I first started. However, I really concentrated EVEN MORE this time. 

Even with my dog coming down to pay me a visit, looking at me like:


Anyway.

For somebody like myself who can't concentrate on anything for more than a few minutes, THAT'S saying something.

Slow. Methodical reps. So slow in fact, that to the untrained eye, it may have seemed like I put myself to sleep.

P90X Day 2: Plyometrics: The P90X Scared Straight Program

When I decided to start working out in the morning. It wasn't really SO MUCH, the first workout I was worried about. It was the second one. Plyo.

The last time I did this workout was 9/24/14

This time:

It's amazing how much I lost in a month and a half off. I modified and concentrated on form for the majority of the DVD, whereas back on 9/24 I pretty much kept up with "The Kids" the whole time. No Modifications.

Even Modifying most of it now, I had to work harder. My AVG Heart Rate was actually OUTTA My "Zone." (HR 121-159)

Granted, I'm not starting all the way back at my Day 1 Fitness Level, but still, it's sort of frustrating.
 

But, I'll get back to where I was. Eventually.


Until then. It's Scared Straight.
 

On another note. I really liked the fact that Plyometrics was over with in the morning and I did not have it hanging over my head all day. Knowing that when I got home, eventually I'd have to drag myself down to my basement and push play.
