P90X Day 32 - 75: Still Here.

Well. I'm still around. I just have not been posting.

A quick recap. 

So. It's been 43 Days. Of those 43 days. I had 9 Days off. For Various Reasons. I was Sick. I hurt myself. Zombie Apocalypse. Alien Invasion. So on and so forth.

That means I worked out 34 of THOSE 43 days. 6 of which, I doubled up the workouts, so I "really" only took off 3 days. To me, that Math checks out.

As far as the workouts go, I think really trying to concentrate on form has paid off. I definitely, don't remember having this much in the way of muscles before. Not that what I have now is anything to write home about. Or blog about. But beggars can't be choosers.

Naturally, I attribute my "extra" weight (up from my Summer Low of 191.6 to 198) to muscle. Naturally.

AND Not to the fact that I haven't been exactly setting the world on fire with my diet. But I was, AND have been, under 200lbs before and after NYE, which is the first time I could say THAT, in probably about 11 or 12 years.

And going back to diet. Yeah. I get it. You can't out run your diet. But I'm still getting results, so I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing. Spending all weekend planning my meals for the week seems like torture. I've stuck with it for almost a year doing things my way. So, that's what I'm going to keep doing. And of course, try to keep improving. Little by little.

For the future, I plan to finish up P90X on 3/9 and start Insanity 3/10. 

For the past. Another great Christmas with my Wife. And another year of how I can't believe I was lucky enough to find somebody like her...And trick her into marrying me.

Though, the past month or so has also been tough. It was the first Christmas without my Grandmom. Another one without my Dad. And yet another year, without a Great Friend of mine that I lost.

I still think of them each all the time. I suppose it goes without saying that with losing such amazing people, It's tough not too.

My Friend was the type of person who just loved life. Definitely a special trait to emulate from a special person.

I hope everybody is off to a great New Year. 

As for me. Just like when my check engine light comes on...And I check to see if the engine is still there. I'm still here.
